When cyclists register for Cure on Wheels, they are signing up for a fundraising mission first, and a bike ride second. Cure on Wheels take this commitment seriously. We expect almost 30 percent of all Cure on Wheels cyclists will achieve "Heavy Hitter" status by raising $2,000.  The minimum requirement is normally $1,000 but we are allowing all first year riders the chance to participate for a fundraising minimum of $500.  We believe that, once you write to your friends, family and co-workers, you will far exceed this year's promotional minimum.  The fundraising deadline is October 31st.

Raising money for cancer research and treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center is the core of the Cure on Wheels mission.  Known as "seed money," Cure on Wheels funds enable clinicians and scientists to pursue innovative research that has the potential to achieve the results that will warrant National Institutes of Health (NIH), or other private and government grants. In so many cases, this early support has fostered the development of some of the most important advances made in cancer research over the last two decades.
